Home safe and sound... thank goodness!

and these are just some of the highlights of our week away to BC. more pics of the highlights to follow the very cute cabin Emil rented us... me, with a Mo Hawk... I had a few drinks, you should see the pics I can't post! Us, infront of our new home awy from home for the next few days the wonderful view we had on the fairy going to the hot springs The Bear, ok not the bear... but a bear, that looked alot like the bear... more to follow!

the day before mother's day..

This the gift I made my Mom, for mother's day. I have to admit, I love it, wish someone made something like this for me. I hope my mom will like it. I got the idea from Breakfast television(channel 8) the other day. Allison Orther was on and she showed off something like this, so I just had to try it... Hope mom likes it! This is the Back, I used skewers and tacky tape to attach them. Hopefully she doesn't look at the back! This is one of the cards my class is making for our final stamp club meeting, hope they like it!

best day I have had...

In a long time, such a treat to spend the whole day with Emil, just the two of us in the great out doors...

loved it, sat in the sun(burnt my face!) had a picnic got crazy muddy, and did alot of laughing!!

love my cuttlebug, this is a card that I made for my stepmom. She turned the big 50 on May 2nd. we had a very nice night, went for a huge dinner, with way too much food and tons of family and fun.

Only thing missing.....

was over at Jackie's house the other day for a visit, I totally love hanging out at her house and playing with her kids, they are so sweet. we drew some great pictures, and ran around, fun!!!

anyway, Jackie got me this great paper ribbon, I just love it!!!

Cricut... :)

for the last few days I have been trying to figure out my new cricut, as well as the new programs I got for it. For those that don't know what a cricut is, it is a glorified pair of scissors. you tell it what to cut and it does(or so you hope) this is what I made with all my cricut peices, a quick thanks to Valena for her help!

I just love this pic. it is another one of the many pics I found in the photo album I got from my mom. Most of the childhood photos i have of me have some aspect of them that I do not like, this to me is just a child enjoying being a child. I think my hair sort of looks like a chocolate sunday!!!
