didn't get much done this weekend, think I was feeding my soul more than feeding my scrapbooking habit...

had way to much wine, and suffered accordingly for it!!!

But laughed harder and louder than I have in years....

I know, sort of neglecting my blog, so I thought I would add a few of the pages I have been working on, I have done so many that I need more than one entry to show them off, tell me what you think!!

So sorry for not posting in a while, been going through a bit of a transition in my life and haven't felt all that cheery so didn't want to depress the masses... ha ha ha, does anyone even read this anyway, i really don't know.

Have I told you lately how much I just love these kits, for those of you that have no been listening, I love these kits, they are so cute, and fun... this first pic is of a page I did of my friend Lisa who just had her third baby, a healthy baby boy named Jaxson Peter Ryan Murry so cute, see him IRL today, can't wait!!!! Love you Both!! This was a LO I did also useing my kit from Monday night class, of my MOM's garden... love the white background, first time I have ever done that.... Had a great long weekend at the bloomin INN got 11 pages done, which for me was great, had fun, weather was amazing... Happy Laura

A weekend just for me!!

Odd but true, do to my very busy job I have never in 11 years taken a saturday off just o hang out. This saturday I did just that, it was wonderful such a treat! anyway, one of the many things I did is scrapbook... For those of you that know me you are most likely shaking your head in suprise, everyone knows that I never scrapbook in my awesome scrapbook room I normally wait until I have paid someone for space to scrapbook, but this weekend with the help of my honey, I did this LO... The items used are from this great kit I got from this new site called http://mondaynightclass.ca/ I love there kits, and I love the girls doing it so it is a Win Win as for as I am conserned!!! B is for Birthday!

I made this card for my brother today, it is his birthday this week and the family has all donated money for him to go to eat at his favorite restaurant in Montreal... He was thrilled to say the least! He works his butt off, so it will be some nice down time for him!

Home safe and sound... thank goodness!

I had a few drinks, you should see the pics I can't post! Us, infront of our new home awy from home for the next few days the wonderful view we had on the fairy going to the hot springs The Bear, ok not the bear... but a bear, that looked alot like the bear... more to follow!

the day before mother's day..

This the gift I made my Mom, for mother's day. I have to admit, I love it, wish someone made something like this for me. I hope my mom will like it. I got the idea from Breakfast television(channel 8) the other day. Allison Orther was on and she showed off something like this, so I just had to try it... Hope mom likes it! This is the Back, I used skewers and tacky tape to attach them. Hopefully she doesn't look at the back! This is one of the cards my class is making for our final stamp club meeting, hope they like it!

best day I have had...

In a long time, such a treat to spend the whole day with Emil, just the two of us in the great out doors...

loved it, sat in the sun(burnt my face!) had a picnic got crazy muddy, and did alot of laughing!!
