So inspired!

Took the weekend off for a few reasons, one had to take my love for a not so pleasant test, two, had a weekend long regional HM conference! I am thrilled to say that all tests turned out fine! (thank God) and I learned so much at our Calgary Regional meeting. Have you heard of Heritage makers? If you haven't than clearly I need to work harder at telling my people all about the great projects, gifts and photo ideas that they have to offer and how easy it all is to get started.... I think I have the cutest Nephew....

a quick digi page I do, we went sledding with the Niece and Nephew on boxing day, this was one of the few pictures I got before my Battery froze and gave up on me, isn't he the cutest!!!

4 weeks yesterday!!

"all my bags are packed, I'm ready to go, I'm standing here out side your door, I hate to wake you up to say good bye..... Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane don't know when I'll be back again.... Oh babe I have to go" Ok so none of this is true, have no idea what to bring or pack, but am super excited!! In four weeks I leave for my cruise... crop and cruise to be exact, 100+ scrapbookers, hanging out and having an awesome time!!! I can't wait! I hoped to loose a few pounds before the trip but that doesn't seem to be happening, so guess I will have to be happy with me and just plan for a great time!

The last few days have been good, and busy which is good. With this economy people are holding on tight to there spare $$'s

Started back at school last night, have an awesome teacher, perhaps one of the best so far...

She is also the sweet Lady who had Mark and I over for Christmas dinner, She has an absolutely awesome family, and I am so lucky to call her my friend!

Anyway, some updates for you all...

I have good news and "bad" news...

The good news is our first turkey turned out totally awesome!! For those of  you who don't actually know me, turkey is my very favorite food, it isn't just the turkey itself but the family and laughter that goes with it, I love it!!

SO I was a little concerned that cooking it may pose a problem, it may be just me but sometimes when I spend a day cooking something, the smell gets imbedded in my body and then I can't eat it... if that makes sense This mostly only happens when I make soups, which I really enjoy making bt end up giving away cause I can't eat it after I made it.

Well the bad news... It happened with my turkey... I made it, smelt it all day, could hardly wait to dig into in, and COULDN'T I was so sad....

even the next day I tried eating left overs, and still couldn't stomach it!

it was only the day after that I was able to enjoy a small bit!

Thankfully Mark didn't have this problem and very much enjoyed turkey dinner and the left overs to follow as did the rest of my family that came to dinner at the house. 

Oh one other odd thing, somehow, I made KFC gravy, you wouldn't be able to take the difference, it tasted exactly like KFC gravy... very weird!!!!!

Hey all,

been playing... here is the results...

a wee digi LO for your viewing pleasure!

Having a sort of busy, yet lazy day!

Invited the family over for dinner, but sadly most had plans, anyway, am cooking a turkey for the first time, well by BF and I are anyway, neither of us have done it before...

Have warned all guests that if it doesn't turn out we may have to order a pizza!

Wanted to cook it on Boxing day, however I wasn't feeling so hot, so it was way more work than I had in mind that day!

Ok enough babbling, hope you like my LO and keep taking pictures!!

Well managed to avoid the timmies today, but was attacked, yes attacked, by the halloween candy... ten mini chocolate bars later... ten for ten points tho, really is a great deal!!! tee hee

Ok so I think we will start tomorrow... did great till I got home and saw the box O chocolate.

Will kick some CALORIES tomorrow!!!
